The Last day in The People's Republic of DC

Today was our last day in DC so we took time to thank those who helped us get here and meet with our Representatives and Senators. I personally spent time with Congressman Guthrie and Senator McConnell's office. Daniel met up with a prominent DC Photographer. While waiting to meet up with Daniel after lunch, there was a fire in the McDonalds at Union Station Downtown. The entire building was evacuated and emergency teams were brought in.  Thankfully there was no damage, but the McDonalds regulars were not happy. We finally departed our nations capitol to return to Baltimore for our flights home tomorrow.

The Deserted Capitol Building now contains hard working Congressmen and Senators once again.

I enjoyed seeing all the pictures and your view of Washington. I do not envy you the crowds! Oh, and I saw your quote in the Herald today about the McCain shirt. NICE! =)
