Tonight we went to the 48th annual Congressional Baseball game between the Democrats and Republicans. Every year the Representatives and Senators compete against each other in the Nationals Stadium for the sought after title. For the last 8 years the GOP reigned supreme on the field. Tonight the Dems won... The most irritating part was when their fans started chanting "Yes we can" ... Kentucky Congressman Ben Chandler, grandson of former KY Governor and former Baseball Commissioner Happy Chandler was a backup player for the left. Our starting pitcher was supposed to be John Ensign of Nevada who announced yesterday that he had an affair with a campaign staffer who was married to a staffer in his DC office. I said at least there was a republican scandal not involving another man or a little boy... a little light hearted humor.Note that I wanted to see what all I could shoot from sitting in one seat the entire time.
