24 Hours

The day before the ceremony was not without its interesting moments. We got our tickets from Congressman Westmoreland's office at the Capitol Club building. There was a line for the metro that was unreal. It was so bad that they were letting people through without ticketing them. Union Station had all of the entrances closed except for one and it was a revolving door, and there was (no joke) thousands of people trying to come in and out. The outside was also blocked by barricades that one fat person could get stuck in, yet 3 and 4 people were cramming through at a time. This is but a taste of what is in store for tomorrow.
