The first million people arrive

Today was the concert for the Inauguration Kick Off at the Lincoln Memorial. We had the fortunate experience of being in the National Mall area with One Million Plus people. There was no room to walk around. We also ran into Christians who declared themselves as saints and protested everyone who was not them. DC is an interesting city.

They aren't anti-American for opposing Bush. They are simply using their freedom of speech. He has an approval rate of 33%.

I am not saying that they are anti-american for opposing our president, they are anti american for wanting to arrest him just because they do not agree with his decisions. Bush has acted within the confines of the law and did what he thought was best at the time to keep this country safe. We have not been attacked at home since 9-11 because of what President Bush has done to keep us safe. History will judge him as a great president several years from now. Freedom of speech is one thing, freedom of stupidity is another.

Ralph Nader wanted to impeach Bush and Cheney, and I don't feel he is a stupid man.

"In addition to a criminal war of aggression in Iraq, in violation of our constitution, statutes and treaties, there are the arrests of thousands of Americans and their imprisonment without charges, the spying on Americans without juridical warrant, systematic torture, and the unprecedented wholesale, defiant signing statements declaring that the President, in his unbridled discretion, is the law. No man is the law. Never in our country’s history have we seen the rule by fiat as we have seen under the outlaw rule of Bush." - VoteNader.org
