Gnome T minus 8 days!!!

Today was my second to last Friday in DC. Even after working in the Capitol I am finding places and views that I have not seen before. Today the Congressman took a group onto the Speaker of the House's Balcony, which happens to be the best view of the city. We also took advantage of a wonderful Friday afternoon to take portraits of Nan Natcher, the other intern in our office. I am working on filling this weekend with some exciting things to see so that I can make this last weekend a series of good posts and pictures. Some upcoming things to look for will be the Air and Space Museum, The Marine Marching Band at Iwo Jima, Health Care coming to a vote, (maybe) Dinner at a nice place, and any other suggestions that you may have.

Ms. Nan Natcher and her Official DC portrait

The Amazing view from the Speaker's Balcony. Only Congressmen can go up there.

You can never have too many pictures of the Supreme Court.
