So the long awaited first week is over. It has been a great week so far on the hill. Congress is in recess for a week so things slow down a bit. Had lunch in the capitol with an excellent view of the mall, but of course my camera is dead so I can not shoot anything... I have sent some messages and have some friends helping me get a replacement from canon for the time being. Hopefully we can make something happen next week. On another note, the weekend is here and we are making plans for the Smithsonian and some other museums.
Btw this is the last of the Gnome of the days until I get a camera but it is also a stock photo from the corner market. Enjoy!

hey I'm going to the Smithsonian on Sunday! I wish I was in DC for more than a day though! lol. Good luck getting your camera fixed
