The persona of Hillary Clinton as she took the stage was that of somebody of accomplishment. and the reception from the crowd was nothing less than that. Declaring that she was a "proud mother, Democrat, Senator, American, and Supporter of Barack Obama". In that order. It was mildly amusing that when she said proud american, the audience was the quietest. It is interesting to note that Michelle Obama was in the crowd, while President Clinton plans on snubbing Obama's speech Thursday night. Not only did the speech sounded more like a concession speech, but it also sounds like Bush is running for a third term. The Democrats have not drawn enough connection from Maverick McCain to the Bush Administration. She did go on the offense, calling McCain a sexist. Her speech was definitely a fiery and heavy hearted and "consciously feminist" as CNN reported. Her clear goal of tonight's speech was to bring her supporters over to Obama's campaign.
